Is it a Halal restaurant??
Delicious food 8/10Price: $$ Service: 3/10
Food is pretty good. Service is usually slow. I wish they had garlic potatoes.
Not very good staff
I recommend eating in rather than take out, it adds to experience :) There is parking nearby - just across the street by Brewbakers/Alehouse. Everytime I come here, I always get the donair plate; it never disappoints ;)
Moredelicious! Every time I visit city I have to make a stop at Midsea..
Great Lebanese Halal Food specially if you are visiting and looking for Halal Restaurant. This is the place to go, tried chicken shawarma and chicken shawarma platter and it was quite good. Just a little overpriced.
MoreLooking for "The Best" authentically delicious Lebanese fare, this is it! Friendly staff, great portions for a great price, efficient service, always fresh, always feel better having visited, and a healthy, tasty and fulfilling option that is dairy free. Love it!
MoreAs always, a delicious meal. Chicken Shawarma with their house made garlic sauce.
MoreI always hit up midsea for grape leaves and Falafel
Taste was good, portion was enough to satisfy your hunger.
Great service and the best grape leaves anywhere!! All of the sauces are handmade and absolutely amazing. If you're in the area put down your phone and GO!!!
MoreOne of my great finds in my hometown! Plates are very generous, and the rice is sublime! I had the kafta kabob, but I waited a bit too long to eat the meat, so it was a bit tough. The kibbys were killer, and the chicken shawarma is one of my top favourites! Meat is very tender.
MoreSo, the food is very filling, however, the only thing that really changes is the type of meat you are getting as a majority of the plates come with rice, vegetables and a flat bread. It is good. But.......I ordered two plates, that were supposedly 15 bucks per plate, and a child plate, for 12. My spouse went to pick up, and when he got back, the bill was 62.00, if I had known at the time what he paid I would have questioned them, but I didn't look at my bank account until a couple of days after the fact. I feel so fkn gypped, sadly, I will not be ordering from them again.
MoreMidsea is by far my favourite Fredericton gem. The people are friendly, the food is incredible and it's always consistent. It is rare that we would go a few weeks without placing an order. Congrats on establishing one of the best restaurants in town.
Morewe came here with a group of 5 and didn’t give the owner much notice. within 20 minutes we all had delicious and satisfying meals. we’re still talking about how good the food here was!
MoreDelicious quick food!!! Would definitely go back.
Very nice Falafels and Salad. Would have liked to try a wider range
One of the few middle-eastern places to eat in Fredericton, but never disappoints! Favorites are the chicken shawarma and falafel wraps.
MoreOne of the most underrated restaurants in the city!
I really want to give this spot five stars, but I just feel that it's a bit too overpriced. The food is good and I'm never disappointed in that aspect. It really does all boil down to cost though. Aside from the value aspect, the owners are really nice and friendly and the food tastes great (although I do wish the spicy rice was spicier but that's just me).Easily my favourite Donairs in the city as well.
MoreFood is really good, full of flavor. The service was a little slow but over all a great experience
MoreFood was fresh but quantity was not enough. Kids food was without any salad and. Garlic. Simply rice & kabab...
MoreThe best Lebanese food in the city.Their shawarma platters and chicken shawarma are very delicious.Very reasonable price and worth trying
MoreDon't let the spartan appointments fool u. It all about the food and a very satisfying experience every time. This was our Third time in a couple months and I will b back again. Fresh, flavourful, aromatic.... And you won't leave hungry. We have the shawarma combo and the chicken every time, I plan to try other items next time. Always a side of grape leaves ... And once in a while I get a doz to go. Don't walk by, walk in! Lunch or supper!
MoreAmazing. We drove from Moncton just to eat here. Never disappoints.
Excellent food. Fair price. Nice place.
The food this time was dry. Meet not the best as what we call shawarma. No tahini added. I was disappointed for what I paid for this time!
MoreVery pleased with my experience. Had a beef Shwarma with one minor substitute to the platter. Said change was the garlic sauce instead of the hummus. Food was very well prepared and cooked thoroughly. Price was very reasonable. I would certainly go back.
MoreExcellent food and friendly staff!
Excellent food, loved that the portions are just the right size, not too big not too small.
MoreDelicious! The food is homemade and made fresh to order. Atmosphere is lovely, quiet and clean, as well as modern. Although it it is primarily a takeout restaurant, the seating area was nice and did not feel like an afterthought.Prices are very reasonable, and portion size is generous. We will definitely be back!
MoreSo good, delicious shawarma , garlic sauce and salad. Definitely ranked one of my top fav places to eat in Fredericton.
MoreVery good and fresh food. Great choice when trying to have a nice meal <$20.
Food is excellent and staff are great!
Great food and good portion size. We were there early afternoon and it was quite quiet.
MoreI have always loved this restaurant because the food is so delicious! However, after the way the staff just spoke to me, I won’t be back! It doesn’t matter how good the food is, if you treat me like I’m wasting your time, I will happily go elsewhere. So disrespectful.
MoreReally nice atmosphere, good music. Always love what I get here and the falafel is sooooo good!If you haven't had Mediterranean food before, like me, it's worth the experience. This is a regular stop now when I am downtown.
MoreDelicious. Had no idea it existed!!
Tasty and affordable authentic Lebanese food with friendly staff. The seating area is not big but clean and cool.
MoreFood was good, but the portions were very small compared to other Lebanese restaurants I've been to.
MoreFood: 4/5Service: 4/5Portioning: 2/5I honestly would love to give this restaurant a solid four stars, but I feel that I didn't find the value for the money spent here. Food was good. It was freshly made. But, any Mediterranean place I've been to usually has more "toppings" in the plate, and at the least, a decent amount of hummus and/or on the plate. I was disappointed with the portioning. I hope this place does really well, but I'd like to see the portioning improve. I'd like to see less salad, and more hummus and potatoes on the plate of shawarma or falafel.
MoreThis place was a great spot that we happened to stumble across and boy theu did not dissappoint. Portion quality and speed served by a courteous counter server.....i will look for it again when i the Capitalcity.
MoreI love the food at this place. Definitely try the Beef shwarma plate.
Tasty food at reasonable prices. Great portion sizes and staff is always friendly.
MoreDelicious food. Great spot to grab a quick bite. To bad it's so small inside, and cold in the winter. Food is great!
MoreReally enjoyed the chicken shwarma the few times I've bought one. Service was also very quick despite there only being two people working and a dozen or so customers ordering within 10 minutes. Good amount of seating, just wish the place was a little bigger as it can get a little cramped with so many waiting on their order. Great place to visit and worth checking out.
MoreOh how I long for real Lebanese cuisine. Beef shawarma platter came with tough as leather non shaved beef strips, no pickled turnip (oh the humanity!!!), no Lebanese potato (I asked if they had them and the very friendly man told me that no one makes them and to make them there it would require prep!!!??? Wow!) and no garlic sauce or tabouli! Deep fried potato wedges. My advice, stop canadianizing your food! Lebanese food is awesome. Also, I didn't see signage that it was Halal meat but I read that it is. So if you have issues with animal cruelty you'll want to order vegetarian. Very clean and nice folks.
MoreGood food and price.
Food is so good! The dinning area is small so takeout may be the best option. Service was also good. Can't wait to go again
MoreAbsolutely delicious shawarma! The place is small and quaint with lots of natural light, the music is lovely as well as the people there. I can't wait to go back and try something new.
